Uninstall, delete, and reinstall Adobe Flash player

1) In the Command Prompt, change into the directory where flash9b.ocx or flash.ocx is located, EXAMPLE: C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
2) Enter "flashutil9b -uninstallUnlock" or "flashutil -uninstallUnlock", now you can delete all the crap.

If you want to reinstall it, where it really does INSTALL it. Use a standalone installer (redistributeable), don't use the web based crap.

What is a good strategy for finding the right video and audio drivers?

1) Download all possible drivers for your computer.
2) Install each one, until you find one that works.
3) If you couldn't find one that works, try the drivers bundled with the operating system. For example, for Cyrix MediaGX, there is no audio drivers made for Windows 2000, so use "Creative Sound Blaster 16 Plug and Play (WDM)" instead.
